I have been to a lot of conventions. An awful lot. And even if I did not arrange all of them, I'v been on the committees for quite a few of them as well. Although ImagiCon 2 will be better than any of the (ImagiCon 1 possibly excluded). And by the way, the name is Bellis, not (Anders) Bellis. That's why (Anders) is put within brackets. Just so you know. But ImagiCon is actually calles ImagiCon. Not (Imagi)Con. Just so you know.

I arranged my first convention before many of today's fans were even born. That was Fancon 70, the first of the "Scandinavian" sf conventions on the slightly grander scale. After that SF-72 and Fancon 2 (1974). Then a break until NaSaCon 1984 (I think) and the nothing until 2006 (ImagiCon). But I've been to a few. And it was fun to try arranging again, with ImagiCon 1. Hence this reprise. Anders Reuterswärd

Anders Reuterswärd
Started his career as a con organizer with the SFSF minicons in the 70s. His criminal record also comprises Swecon 83, Swecon 85, Fantastika 89, and Fantastika 92. After that there was a break until NasaCon 2000. Then there was RanCon (2003) and thereafter the first Imagicon (2006), where he handled the finances. For some reason, despite a deficit, he was entrusted the same task once more. As a con-goer he has been even more diligent. Innumerable Swedish conventions, some in Finland and Denmark, fourteen British Eastercons and six WorldCons have given a bit of experience of what an sf convention means. Mårten

I've never organized a convention before. But after having organized various other events (boy scouting och students' stuff) I can't really say I feel like a newbie. I have at least managed to attend a number of conventions. Tomas Cronholm
